David began his performing career at the age of five, singing at school and church in various productions, playing principle roles throughout high school including “Curly” in Oklahoma, “Billy Bigelow” in Carousel, “Freddie Aynesford-Hill” in My Fair Lady, and “Cornelius Hackle” in Hello Dolly! He studied vocal performance at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, and graduated from Lawrence Conservatory of Music in 1990 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music.  A Master’s Degree Summa cum Laude from American Intercontinental University followed in 2003. 

David’s stage and concert experiences are extensive, encompassing Opera, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Pop and Oratorio, with over 300 performances as of 2007.  Highlights include his one man shows, principle roles in Cinderella (Panto) with the Gold Coast Theatre Company (with Davy Jones of the Monkees), “An Evening with George Gershwin” as Alan Kearns for the Gershwin Festival in West Palm Beach, 2006,  and a duet of “Hello Dolly” with the inimitable Carol Channing in 2000. 

Though classically trained, David’s love is Musical Theatre as his resume shows.  Live performances and recording in this genre consume about 45 weeks of each year, a testimony to his dedication and passion for working in the arts.  His rehearsal and performance schedule find him ranging across South Florida's tri-county area.  David is a member of several Arts organizations in South Florida, including The South Florida Theatre League and The Florida Professional Theatre Association.   

David’s love of music and singing is apparent in his delivery which can be smooth, seductive, lyric, dramatic, or comedic, depending on the song and genre of music.  He is always an audience favorite whose demeanor suits his movie star looks and impressive talent.  David’s vibrant baritone-tenor voice has lead many to make favorable comparisons with such diverse and well known talents as Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, Billy Joel, Frankee Vallee, and Michael Bubble. 

Performances in 2007 have taken David to the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach, the Gleason Theatre in Miami, The Broward Center in Fort Lauderdale, the Hollywood Center for Performing Arts, Century Village, Florinada Lakes, Imperial Gardens, Clueless on Las Olas, The Broward Stage Door Theatre in Coral  Springs, the Tamarac Theatre for Performing Arts, and many others.  

The 2007-08 season, includes a reprisal of the role of Ben in Menotti’s Comic Opera “The Telephone” with the Piccolo Opera Company, “The World Goes Round at the Tamarac Theatre of Performing Arts,  “Aladdin” with the Gold Coast Theatre Company, and the role of Robert in “Company” at the Willow Theatre in Boca Raton, Florida.   David is also scheduled for over 50 performances of his one man show throughout the season numerous venues.
